Naab$ aka Nabila Shirazi - Looking For Danger
Nabila Shirazi, widely known by her stage name Naabs, is a talented musician whose journey spans continents and cultures. Born in Uganda, Naabs moved to Denmark at the tender age of four, settling in the vibrant district of Østerbro in Copenhagen. She grew up alongside her four siblings, three sisters, and one brother, in a household where music was a constant presence, thanks to her father who was a musician both in Uganda and Denmark.
Naabs’ passion for music was nurtured from a young age, beginning with her participation in church music sessions. This early exposure allowed her to develop a profound connection with music, appreciating not only its technical aspects but also the deep emotions and stories it conveys. This connection helped her navigate and overcome the challenges of her early life.
Her musical style and inspirations are a rich blend of influences from renowned artists such as Akon, Bob Marley, Usher, and Tupac, as well as other R&B and soul musicians. These influences are evident in her unique sound, which seamlessly fuses elements of different genres to create something distinctly her own.
In addition to her musical talents, Naabs is also an accomplished dancer and athlete. She has played soccer and basketball for many years, which, along with her dancing, has kept her in excellent physical condition. Her dance skills have led her to perform at various events, collaborating with artists like Divine Listic and James Njomobua for Urban Dancerz.
